The school was established ten years ago and currently 267 students from Pre-primary to Class IV are enrolled. The Trustees of Karachi Metro Lions were unable to run the institution due to the lack of resources and their deteriorating age. After much thought and pondering. Alamgir Welfare Trust took the responsibilities and named the school as Alamgir Schooling System. It was decided to gradually improve the quality and standards of the school. In this regard, as a first step, the teachers were given training through a series of workshops arranged fortnightly at Alamgir Institute of Engineering and Technology by Ilm Foundation.
